The Boston Red Sox have already swung two big trades for Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo this offseason, and they may not be done just yet. The Red Sox are continually being linked to pretty much every big name who could be available this offseason, with the latest name in that group being Arizona Diamondbacks’ second baseman Ketel Marte .
Over the past nine seasons with the Diamondbacks, Marte has established himself as one of the most well-rounded second basemen in the league. In 2025, Marte hit .283 with 28 home runs and 72 RBIs, which helped him earn his third All-Star selection and second Silver Slugger Award.
