Akhanda 2, the highly anticipated Telugu action film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyukta Menon and Aadi Pinisetty, has once again missed its release date. This time, the makers have promised to reveal a new date "very soon."

Akhanda 2 was abruptly cancelled only hours before the movie was supposed to open in cinemas on December 5. The entire release was cancelled, including the paid premiere programs that were supposed to air on December 4. Officials cited ‘unavoidable circumstances’ and ‘technical issues beyond our control’ as reasons for the delay.

Distributor 14 Reels Plus apologised to fans on their X (formerly Twitter) account and provided detailed explanations for the delay. Additionally, no release date was specified.
