Channing Tatum paid tribute to the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss , a fellow Alabama native, as Boss was inducted into the new Dance Hall of Fame in California.
Boss — a hip-hop dancer, choreographer, producer and TV star who died in 2022 at age 40 — was among the first 10 people to become members of the Dance Hall, alongside legendary stars such as Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gene Kelly, Bob Fosse, Alvin Ailey and Martha Graham.
The organization “honors visionary artists whose groundbreaking contributions have transformed dance across genres and cultures, ensuring their legacies continue to inspire generations to come,” according to its website .
The inaugural class also included Jerome Robbins, Twyla Tharp. Misty Copeland and Kenny Ortega. Actress Shirley MacLaine received the Dance
