WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — Authorities safely located an 8-year-old Williamson County girl on Saturday after she was reported missing the previous day . In an update Monday, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said two people -including the girl’s mother- were arrested in connection with her disappearance.
The case was initially reported as a runaway by the mother, 43-year-old Cailin Doyle, but investigators described her account as “suspicious and questionable.” Multiple agencies, including the Sam Bass Fire Department, assisted in a large-scale search.
