MANOR, Texas — Multiple subdivisions and businesses near the intersection of Suncrest Rd. and Tower Rd. are without power Monday after a commercial truck struck a power pole.
City officials said the outage is impacting the Stone Water, Presidential Heights, Presidential Meadows, Mustang Valley and Monarch subdivisions, as well as Compass Rose and Manor Senior High School campuses. Businesses along FM 973 are also impacted.
Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative crews are working to restore electricity through a back-feeding process while repairs are made. Traffic lights in the area are also out, and officials are urging drivers to use caution at the intersection.
Bluebonnet officials said they will provide an update once power is fully restored
