U.P. man sentenced for sexually exploiting child

An Upper Peninsula man convicted of sexually exploiting a child has been sentenced, federal officials said.

Dalton Wayne Braun, 36, of Kingsford, was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Marquette, according to court records and Timothy VerHey, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan.

A judge gave Braun 30 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child. Thirty years in federal prison is the maximum sentence for the crime.
