CHARLOTTE, N.C. — WHEN: Monday morning's window is coming to a close since the rain is mostly done by the afternoon, and any snow change over or brief sleet like what we had in Concord. The mountains will still be under a Winter Weather Advisory until 1 a.m. Tuesday, but most of the accumulation will be done from the early to mid-evening hours.
IMPACT: A cold, wet and miserable day. Some slick spots, especially once we get a refreeze Monday night. Snow is continuously deteriorating road conditions for the mountains and areas north of Charlotte.
NEED • Take it easy tomorrow morning and/or if you are driving in these snowy areas. • Give yourself extra time.
