Congressman Mike Flood shares his priorities for the upcoming week in Congress

Flood says affordability is his priority for 2026. He believes the way to make things more affordable for Nebraskans is by cutting federal regulations and wasteful spending.

Flood's main focus is on a bipartisan bill he introduced called the Home Reform Act. His intent is to eliminate what he believes are barriers to building more affordable housing. Those include environmental reviews and the requirement that construction materials used in federally funded infrastructure projects must be produced in the United States.
