OMAHA, Neb. —

The city of Omaha announced the winners of its 2025 snowplow naming contest.

Snowbi Wan Kenobi and Big LePlowski are the winners.

They were part of a long list of pre-approved winter-themed submissions Omaha residents could vote on.

Omaha Public Works said while this is a fun contest, the mission to keep city streets clean and safe remains serious.

The city said later this season, you will see Snowbi Wan Kenobi and Big LePlowski cleaning the streets.

You will also be able to follow their routes and watch them work through the city's snowplow tracker .
