Kate Winslet has opened up about the agonising experience of "reliving" her mother's death whilst working on her latest film, Goodbye June. ‌

The Titanic actress has stepped behind the camera for her directorial debut with this feature-length drama, which presents a poignant depiction of a family coming together around their terminally ill mother over the Christmas period. The screenplay was penned by her son, Joe Anders. ‌

Set to arrive on Netflix on 24th December, the production stars acclaimed actress Helen Mirren as the matriarch June, with a supporting cast featuring Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough and Timothy Spall. ‌
