Jeremiah Hughes is apparently looking for a new school.
The Michigan State junior defensive back is planning on entering the portal, according to a report on Monday morning from CBS Sports.
In two seasons with the Spartans, the former LSU transfer posted seven tackles in 13 total games.
Hughes is the fourth Michigan State player headed to the portal since the season ended with a 4-8 record, coach Jonathan Smith was fired and replaced by Pat Fitzgerald. The others are starting running back Makhi Frazier, top receiver Nick Marsh and walk-on defensive lineman Stone Chaney.
At 6-foot-0 and 191 pounds, Hughes spent his freshman season at LSU before transferring to Michigan State last year. He made four tackles in nine games while playing cornerback and special teams but appeared in only the
