BOWLUS — A 55-year-old Burtrum man was injured Sunday, Dec. 7, after his vehicle jackknifed on 140th Avenue in Morrison County.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, reported at 7:13 p.m. in Two Rivers Township, southeast of Bowlus. According to the crash report, Sean Kelly was traveling northbound on 140th Avenue, driving a pickup pulling a trailer, when the trailer began to fishtail and jackknifed, going into the ditch on the east side of the road, striking a tree as it came to rest at the bottom of the embankment.
Kelly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to CentraCare-St Cloud Hospital. His passenger, a 17-year-old Burtrum boy, was treated and released at the scene with minor injuries.
