Cole Reschny will get a chance to represent Canada at the 2025-26 World Juniors.
The Macklin, Sask., product is one of 27 players who has received an invite to the Team Canada training camp for the U20 hockey world championships.
Reschny is the only player from the province who received an invite to the camp.
The 18-year-old was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the first round (18th overall) in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
He is currently playing his first season for the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks. He has two goals and 16 assists in 16 games for the program.
Prior to joining the NCAA, Reschny played with the WHL’s Victoria Royals. He finished with 152 career points (48 goals, 104 assists) in 127 career games with the Royals.
