Jamie Carragher has snapped back at Mohamed Salah, calling the Liverpool forward’s comments about the club a “disgrace”.

Salah hit out at Carragher in his bombshell interview in which he accused Liverpool of “throwing him under the bus” and said his relationship with Arne Slot is over.

He claimed Liverpool have thrown him “under the bus” and claimed that “someone does not want me in the club”.

Salah said he would say “goodbye” to Liverpool fans at Anfield next Saturday before he goes to the Africa Cup of Nations and, in his extraordinary with journalists after being an unused substitute in Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Leeds, also took aim at Sky Sports pundit Carragher.

“After what I have done for the club it really hurts,” he said.

"It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus.
