CANFIELD - South Range Elementary and Middle School have been awarded the "Best Schools" designation by U.S. News and World Report.

According to a press release, both schools were recognized for ranking in the to 40% of schools in the United States.

U.S. News and World Report ranked South Range Elementary School 57th in Ohio elementary schools, and South Range Middle School 55th in Ohio middle schools.

"The Raider Way is a top priority in our district, which means we have an incredibly dedicated staff who nurture high performance rates from our students. Furthermore, we have a community that models "The Raider Way" with generous contributions to our district and strong support for our students both in the classroom and at home," said South Range Superintendent Dr. Jarred Zapolnik.
