Simon Jordan does not consider Aston Villa to be viable challengers for the Premier League title – despite Saturday’s 2-1 win over leaders Arsenal.
Villa scored a last minute winner through Emi Buendia and sealed their 13th victory in the last 15 matches – eight on the spin.
That has left them in third spot in the table and only three points behind the Gunners, who are many people’s runaway title favourites.
While the result has raised the debate about Villa’s status, Jordan doesn’t think they have the goals to finish top and supports Unai Emery's stance in silencing the talk.
