It has been a cold start to December! Through the first seven days of the month we had an average temperature of 28.4°. The average temperature includes both the high and low each day. This was our 17th coldest first seven days on record with records dating back to 1889.
The last time we had this cold of a start was 2010 when the average temperature over the same period was 28.6°. The last time we had a colder start was 2008 when we had an average temperature of 27.7°
Overall, temperatures are expected to remain below average as we continue into the middle of the month.
