On Monday, Dec. 8, Maria Shriver’s Penguin Random House publishing imprint, The Open Field , announced Dane's forthcoming memoir set to be published in 2026.

The news comes eight months after Dane, 53, shared in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
