Police raided a property and seized “a number of MDMA pills” after a tragedy at a drum ‘n’ bass festival, an inquest has heard.
Reagen Baxter, from Chattenden, near Rochester, had a potentially fatal level of the drug in his system when he died after attending the Dreamland event this summer.
After the 20-year-old was taken to the QEQM Hospital in Margate on June 28, the festival was shut down , and thousands of fans were sent away - which organisers said was due to the hot weather.
It has now been confirmed that following analysis of Reagen’s phone, a man was arrested the following day on suspicion of selling him the MDMA.
This is the same drug that led to the death of 17-year-old Emily Stokes at a similar event, also held at Dreamland, almost exactly a year earlier.
