At 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid for Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Carbon and Monroe counties.
The weather service states, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes," describes the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
