New Delhi: Nvidia has received approval from Donald Trump to sell its high-tech H200 AI chips to China, which was a significant shift in the export restrictions of the Biden era. It is a great win for the Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, who has been lobbying the White House to reinstate access to the Chinese market. Up to this point, the top-tier chips manufactured by Nvidia were not being sold to China because of national security reasons by the US.
According to Trump, the Commerce Department is completing the deal, which will allow the sales to approved clients according to strictly stipulated conditions.
