It's a beautiful day across North Texas and just a little breezy.

The winds from the south will remain gusty overnight through Wednesday morning. An approaching front is causing a tight pressure gradient, so expect gusts up to 20 mph Tuesday night.

Wednesday morning, a cold front will move across the area, keeping temperatures in the 40s in the morning and in the mid-60s by the afternoon. During the afternoon, winds could gust up to 25 mph on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday temperatures continue to climb. Friday, the high is expected to be 70 degrees.

The warming trend won't last for long. A stronger cold front will move through late Friday night. This will bring a temperature dip with it.
