(Fargo, ND) — Sanford is stationing extra ambulances in Fargo before more winter storms. This comes after the first snowstorm caused hundreds of crashes and pileups. Using historical data, Sanford will deploy the extra ambulances in areas that need the most attention. Heavy snowfall and freezing rain can delay ambulance response times. However contingency plans are in place, including snowplows to help access neighborhoods after large snowstorms.
