PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - A man has died after being hit while riding his bicycle.

This happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday along U.S. 119 in the Belfry area of Pike County, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police said Eric Bentley was on a bicycle when he was hit.

Bentley died at the scene, according to troopers.

KSP said the crash is still under investigation and have not said anything about charges being filed against the driver.

Several agencies responded to the scene including Kentucky State Police, the Belfry Volunteer Fire Department, Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service and the Pike County Coroner’s Office.
