For my daughter's first Christmas , I really wanted to take her to see Santa at least once. But with it being her first experience of Father Christmas , I wanted somewhere magical, authentic and not too overwhelming for a nearly one-year-old.

West Midlands Safari Park's Santa Safari seemed to tick all the boxes. A grotto experience, the North Pole, twinkling lights, winter wonderland and, of course, plenty of animals (her favourite). It all sounded perfect.

And after our visit, I think it will become our annual Christmas tradition as a family for years to come. It was completely magical.
