Kylian Mbappe missed Real Madrid training ahead of their Champions League showdown with Manchester City at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Mbappe did not take part in training at Real’s Valdebebas training ground on Tuesday morning due to a muscle issue, adding to Xabi Alonso’s injury woes.
Real were already set to be without as many as eight first-team players against Manchester City but could now lose Mbappe, who will be assessed over the next 24 hours.
Eduardo Camavinga is also a doubt after missing training on Tuesday with an ankle issue, while Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out for at least two months after tearing his left thigh muscle.
