The TV star was left in agony after being yanked to the ground by her one-year-old puppy Suzie during a walk near her home.

TV antiques dealer Jo Roberts has revealed she was rescued from a remote woodland after suffering a fall and breaking her hip during a dog walk.

Jo, known for her appearances on BBC1's Bidding Room , found herself alone and in excruciating pain after being pulled to the ground by her energetic pet dog.

The 73-year-old was enjoying a tranquil stroll near her Kenilworth home when her lively one-year-old puppy Suzie spotted a squirrel and took off, causing Jo to tumble.

She lay immobilised on the path, unable to call for assistance as she had left her mobile at home for some "me time."
