RICHMOND, Ky. — With a half-year until the primary election, State Rep. Deanna Frazier Gordon, R-Richmond, has suspended her campaign for Kentucky's 6th Congressional District.
Gordon said in a release she will no longer be running for Congress but instead filing for reelection to the Kentucky State House of Representatives.
“When I entered the congressional race, it was because I believe strongly in fighting for Kentucky values and helping move our country forward,” Gordon said. “But over the past several weeks, it has become clear to me that my work in Frankfort isn’t finished.
