A 60-year-old Bronx high school math teacher was arrested on sex abuse charges after he was accused of slapping a teen student on the butt, police said Tuesday.
Kiho Kim was taken into custody at the Bronx Design and Construction Academy in Melrose just before 2 p.m. Monday after the student reported he had accosted her earlier in the day, cops said.
Kim has been a math teacher with the Department of Education for 27 years, according to a LinkedIn profile.
Cops charged him with forcible touching and sexual abuse. His arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court was pending Tuesday.
An email to the Department of Education for comment was not immediately returned.
