BONANZA, Ark. — Almost a week after the bodies of a woman and two children were found at a home in Bonanza, Arkansas, the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) released new details about the investigation.
SCSO began looking into the deaths after the bodies of a woman and two children were found on the morning of Dec. 3. The woman was identified as 40-year-old Charity Powell, and the children as her 6-year-old twins.
According to a statement from SCSO giving updates on the investigation on Tuesday, Dec. 9, twelve search warrants are "in process," with six having already been served.
They also said in the statement that multiple interviews have been conducted, autopsy results are pending, and "a large amount of evidence has been collected."
