LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The mother accused of murdering her 5-year-old son and putting his body in a suitcase will be tried in Louisville, according to a release from the Washington County Prosecutor's Office in Indiana.

The release said a Jefferson County grand jury indicted Dejaune Anderson on murder, first-degree manslaughter, first-degree criminal abuse and abuse of a corpse.

Washington County Prosecutor Tara Coats Hunt requested the Jefferson County Commonwealth's Attorney review the investigation into the murder of Cairo Jordan and consider presenting the case to a grand jury, the release said. The case will be directed to Commonwealth's Attorney Gerina D. Whethers and her office.
