NORRISTOWN — A Springfield Township man, a former volunteer umpire and youth baseball coach in the Montgomery County area, is headed to prison for at least a decade for having sexual contact with two underage girls who he also provided alcohol and vape pens after meeting them through social media apps.

Tyler James Degiacomo, 35, of the first block of Apel Avenue, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 10 to 20 years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to three felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child in connection with incidents that occurred between December 2023 and March 2024.

Judge Wendy G. Rothstein also ordered Degiacomo to complete six years of probation, consecutive to parole, meaning Degiacomo will be under court supervisi
