MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office says a man has been arrested on several drug related charges following a major narcotics investigation.

JPSO say they have arrested 51-year-old Dewayne Woods and seized a significant quantity of illegal narcotics, firearms, ammunition and cash.

Officials say evidence indicates activity consistent with large-scale narcotics distribution.

JPSO reports they recovered 7.9 lbs. of marijuana, 2.2 lbs. of synthetic marijuana, 649 grams of crack cocaine, 3.8 lbs. of methamphetamine, 2.8 lbs. of powder cocaine, over 3,000 Ecstasy (MDMA) pills, suboxone and M30-type pills, large quantities of unidentified pills and powder, multiple firearms and ammunition and $13,510 in cash.
