OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - The Overland Park Police Department shared video of a recent hit-and-run crash involving one reckless driver, two failed donuts and a light pole.

In a Facebook post, OPPD’s traffic unit shared a video of the incident from 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 2, just after snow fell in the region.

In the video, a white or silver truck could be seen driving west on W. 79th Street. As it passed Foster Street and entered an empty, widened section of the road, it began to “drive recklessly,” OPPD said.

It made one unsuccessful donut attempt, then tried again and instead accelerated head-on into a light pole. The pole was knocked out entirely, then the truck reversed and drove away.
