The Colts officially placed quarterback Daniel Jones on injured reserve Tuesday, and Indianapolis also placed defensive back Chris Lammons on injured reserve with a foot injury.

The Jones move was expected.

Jones tore his right Achilles tendon early in Sunday’s loss to Jacksonville, and the team’s starting quarterback is undergoing surgery this week that will end his season.
