MAPLE CITY — Eight area players made the Division 7-8 all-state team compiled by the Michigan Sports Writers.

Glen Lake senior linebacker Fletcher Middleton and McBain senior kicker Thomas Maloney made the first team, while the Lakers had two second-team selections in junior offensive lineman David Kish and junior linebacker Dominic Stein.
