Three committee chairpersons went before the Select Board on December 1, to provide a report of their respective committees. Whether preserving land, tending to the harbors or managing the town’s beaches, all three representatives focused on success and challenges in addressing town needs.
Community Preservation Committee chairwoman Sandra L. Cuny reported that since the establishment of the Community Preservation Act in 2005, the Community Preservation Fund has contributed nearly $82 million in projects addressing community housing, recreation, historical preservation, open space and the development of the town’s Land Bank.
