A Reno father and son have been identified as the two people killed in a shooting along U.S. 395 near the California Agricultural Inspection Station over the weekend, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office said.
The victims were 17-year-old Spencer Browne and his father, 43-year-old Richard Browne, both of Reno. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Their deaths were ruled homicides, and both died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting occurred the morning of Dec. 6 after two vehicles carrying people from Reno pulled to the shoulder on southbound U.S. 395 near the Long Valley Agricultural Inspection Station, authorities said earlier.
