Christopher Nolan ‘s The Odyssey is less than a year away from opening in theaters, and ahead of its release, Universal is releasing an extended trailer at 70mm Imax screenings.

The filmmaker’s latest film was shot entirely with Imax cameras, and the Imax 70mm screens are the optimal way of experiencing this work.

The prologue, which is expected to run close to six minutes, will precede Imax 70mm screenings of Sinners and One Battle After Another , beginning December 12.

On December 19, and ahead of all screenings for Avatar: Fire and Ash , a shorter version of The Odyssey preview will play. The extended trailer will continue to run ahead of Imax screenings of the James Cameron film.
