HOKA NAZ Elite athlete Wesley Kiptoo placed third overall in the men's open 10K

Cross country was still very much in season last weekend.

The USATF Cross Country Championships provided a who's who in American distance running, with many former NCAA champions competing at the Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, OR, on Saturday, Dec. 6.

HOKA NAZ Elite athlete Wesley Kiptoo, the 2021 NCAA champion for Iowa State in the indoor 5,000, placed third overall in the men's open 10K. Kiptoo, who became an American resident shortly before placing 14th at the Chicago Marathon on Oct. 12, covered the 6.2-mile course in 29 minutes, 27.7 seconds to earn a spot January's World Championships in Tallahassee, FL.
