PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - The City of Pineville announced December 9, that the Pinecrest Christmas lights display has returned and will be open nightly for visitors!

The popular lights display starts ‘at dusk,’ and you can enter the Pinecrest Supports and Services Center campus located at 100 Pinecrest Drive. Visitors can drive slowly though the grounds to see the thousands of twinkling lights.

The drive-thru display is known for not only the lights but also the classic Disney-themed characters that line the roadway, and other characters you may recognize as well.

City of Pineville cautioned visitors about heavy traffic, particularly between 7:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., as that’s when there’s a shift change.

They recommended visiting outside of that window to avoid congestion.
