Jazza Dickens has been upgraded to WBA super-featherweight champion after Lamont Roach was stripped of the title. Dickens becomes Britain's fourth reigning male champion along with Nick Ball, Lewis Crocker and Fabio Wardley.

Roach was crowned champion in 2023, but his last two fights have taken place at lightweight and light-welterweight, respectively. As a result, the WBA decided to strip Roach Jr of his super-featherweight title the minute his draw against Isaac Cruz on Saturday night started.
