OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Oshkosh city council took action Tuesday night on two proposals.
The first was an agreement with the Oshkosh Area Humane Society that would focus on providing shelter, care and adoption services for city strays.
The deal, now passed, runs from Jan. 1 next year through Dec. 31, 2028.
The second item on the agenda also passed, providing ambulance services to communities affected by the lapsing service agreement during the transition period.
Several towns and villages previously contracted with the city; however, starting Dec. 31, they will be under the care of Lifestar Emergency Medical Services.
Both items passed unanimously.
