GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Redevelopment Board approved an additional $204,000 for a veterans housing project and advanced a controversial pavilion proposal during Tuesday’s meeting.

The board approved the funding increase for the Veterans First tiny homes project on St. Anthony Drive.

The money comes from the city’s TIDA affordable housing fund and covers unexpected costs tied to the first phase of development.

The project will bring 21 supportive housing units and a community center once complete.

With the increase approved, the TIDA fund will drop to $113,000 heading into 2026, before an expected $2 million is added in early 2027.
