CASS, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Rail enthusiasts and photographers will have a rare opportunity this winter as Mountain Rail Adventures launches its first-ever Winter Photography Special to Durbin on Friday, January 16. The exclusive event is limited to just 13 passengers, offering an intimate and highly customizable photography experience along the remote 15-mile route.

The excursion will be powered by Shay No. 5, one of the line’s historic geared steam locomotives. The train will include log cars and a caboose for riders, evoking the region’s early logging and railroad heritage.
