GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - WITN is proud to highlight some of the incredible educators who inspire our students across the East, all thanks to your nominations. This week, we want you to meet Ashley Hutchinson.

Ashley teaches English and journalism at J.H. Rose High School in Greenville.

Her journalism class produces the school’s newspaper, Rampant Lines.

Ashley also serves as the adviser for the National English Honor Society at Rose.

In all her classes, Ashley says she loves planning lessons that involve collaboration and inquiry.

Outside of the classroom, she is also a College Board-endorsed consultant for AP Seminar and AP Language and Composition. In this role, she spends her summers working with teachers across the state through the AP Partnership program.
