With many people getting in the festive spirit, quite a few Brits are hoping we will get the full experience this year as they dream of a white Christmas . Now 15 years on since the last snowfall on December 25 in the UK, the Met Office has given its final ruling as the festive forecast.
Sadly for those hoping to sledge down hills and build a snowman this year, the national forecaster has delivered some disappointing news. The Met Office predicts that the chances of a white Christmas are now unlikely.
With the country being battered by Storm Bram this week, Scots have experienced above average temperatures. During the height of the storm, temperatures rose to 16C in Kinloss on December 9, with Strathallan and Leuchers following not far behind with 15C.
