Divers at the Madrid Zoo prepared a festive nativity scene whilst sharks swam past them in the aquarium's water tank on Wednesday.

The two divers placed figures of baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph in a 10,000-litre tank holding a varied assortment of fish, including a bull shark.

The nativity scene has become a tradition at the aquarium, set up in the tank every year since 1995.
