SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Two people were rescued from a burning apartment above an Akron strip club late Tuesday evening.
Akron firefighters responded to the G spot in the 100 block of E. South St. around 7:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they said they found heavy fire from the apartment above the strip club.
Firefighters were able to rescue the two people trapped in the apartment and everyone else managed to escape safely on their own.
There were no injuries and the blaze was quickly extinguished.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
