Gerald Mintz, born in Cleveland on Sept. 12, 1939, passed away peacefully on Dec. 8, 2025 in Cleveland.

Son of the late Eva and Sam Mintz; beloved husband of the late Linda Mintz (nee Nash); dearest father of Howard (Lisa) Mintz of Coconut Creek, Fla., and Craig (Becky Green) Mintz of Gaithersburg, Md.; cherished grandfather of Daryen, Cameron, Alex and Arin Mintz and Zachary Green.

Jerry spent his career as a sheet metal worker for over 60 years. He then enjoyed retirement by working at the JCC and spending his days helping others, staying physically fit and enjoying time with his family.

Services will be held at noon Dec. 11 at Berkowitz Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel at 1985 S. Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery. To view the service, go to bkb
